Top 16 ‘Disney Instagram Walls’ At Walt Disney World

We now live in a world where a quirky and colourful photo’s dominate the internet scene. Each day, 95 million photos are shared on Instagram just waiting to get the ‘Insta worthy’ approval. And Photos from Walt Disney World are no exception. The famous ‘Disney Instagram Walls’ craze is well and truly on the rise with new wall pics popping up on our feeds each and every day. When purchasing a ticket for Disney World one expects too wait in line for character meet and greets or to ride one of the popular attractions. But who knew people would also be lining up to get a snap in front of their favourite piece of Disney World Wall Art.

The ‘Walls of Disney’ phenomenon has become so popular that it now has it’s own Instagram accounts and hashtags dedicated to the trend. So, on my recent trip to Disney World, I too jumped on the ‘Disney Walls’ band waggon and tried to get as many photo’s possible of those Insta worthy walls.

Today, I would like to share with you guys 16 of my favourite walls at Walt Disney World, along with their location, Instagram accounts and hashtags.

1. Disney’s Purple Wall – Magic Kingdom

Let’s kick start this blog post with where it all began. With the first of the Disney Walls to be declared Insta worthy. Yes, That’s right. You guessed it! First on the list is none other than Magic Kingdoms famous purple wall.

Why is it so famous? Well, because it’s purple of corse. The purple wall has sparked so much attention that Disney have even started to release merchandise themed around the wall. Often times, Disney has a photo pass cast member stand at the wall to make fans photoshoot even more Insta grammable.

Where is Disney’s Purple Wall? I was actually surprised at how hard it was to initially find the purple wall. Although, I must admit, once I found it, it stuck out like a sore thumb. Most blog posts I read prior to my Disney trip stated that the wall is located between the Tomorrowland Entrance and Mikes Laughter Lounge. But for someone like me who is hopeless at directions, I still managed to miss it.

My best advice for finding the purple wall is walk through the tomorrowland sign and just before you approach Mikes Laughter Lounge take a right. Walk towards tomorrowland terrace (restaurant) and you will pass the wall on your left hand side.

2. The Purple Galactic Wall – Magic Kingdom

So, the next wall on the list is basically the purple wall with a twist. The Galactic Purple Wall was an instant success with people quickly snapping a pic in front of the cosmic design. The different shades of purple and white is enough to have your insta followers going crazy.

For those of you who love the idea of the plain purple backdrop don’t worry, the purple wall is very much still there. It has just has a super cool new neighbour.

Where is the Galactic Purple Wall? The Galactic Wall is right beside the purple wall. So no need to go on a massive goose chase to find it.

3. The Candy Stripe Wall – Magic Kingdom

The 3rd Disney Wall on the list is the pretty in pink ‘Candy Wall’. The location of this wall is awesome for many reasons, one being, it’s in doors, so say hello to air conditioning. The second being, it’s located in the main street Confectionery at Magic Kingdom, so say hello to scrumptious snacks. And third being, it’s very close to the entrance to the Magic Kingdom, so say hello to Cinderella’s Castle.

If you are stopping by to take an Instagram pic with the Candy Wall, be sure to purchase a chocolate covered marshmello stick. They are DELISH!

4. The Tangled Wall – Magic Kingdom

Next on our Disney World Walls list is the beautiful pink floral wall from the popular Disney Princess movie, Tangled. Stand by the flowers and pretend you are in the middle of fairytale as you glance upon fantasyland.

The weird thing about this wall is it’s location. It is located on the front wall of the Tangled bathrooms. These are honestly the nicest restrooms is all of Walt Disney World. So much wall detail and decoration.

5. The Bubble Gum Wall – Epcot

Another crazy popular Disney Wall is the Bubble Gum Wall at Epcot. Almost as popular as the purple wall. All I can say is I LOVE it. It is just the perfect combination of colours. There is actually two of these walls, meaning you shouldn’t have to wait too long to take a pic.

Where is the Bubble Gum Wall? The Bubble Gum Wall is located at the ‘project tomorrow’ sign by Spaceship Earth (Google Maps). It’s almost impossible to miss it’s vibrant pink colour.

6. The Blueberry Wall – Epcot

Ok, so I have good news, the Blue Berry wall is right in front of the Bubble Gum wall. Remember the ‘project tomorrow’ sign, well that sits on the Blueberry Wall. That’s two pictures in the space of two minutes.

7. You are Most Beautiful Wall – Animal Kingdom

Now it’s time to leave Epcot behind and park hop over to Animal Kingdom. The first wall stop takes use to Africa. The Harmbe market to be exact. The You are Most Beautiful Wall is possibly one of the cutest walls in all of Walt Disney World. One that is sure to put a smile on your face.

Just a word of advice, spend as long as possible strolling the streets of Harmbe, there is so many stunning picture opportunities, musical performances and food stops to enjoy. I think it may be my favourite place in the Animal Kingdom.

Where is the You are Most Beautiful Wall? Ok, so this is a tricky one to find. I must admit, I had to ask a cast member to point me in the right direction. To find the You are Most Beautiful Wall walk all the way to the back of the Harmbe Market, the wall is tucked away on the left hand side just after the famous sausages food hut (Google Maps).

8. Fichwa Fellow Wall, Animal Kingdom

Fichwa Fellow. Hmmmm what’s that!? ‘Fichwa’ means ‘hidden’ in Swahili. And now it makes perfect sense. The wall signifies a hidden Micky.

What’s super ironic about the Fichwa Fellow wall is it’s not in the slightest way hidden. In fact, it’s possible the easiest of all the Disney Instagram Walls to find.

Where is the Fichwa Fellow Wall? As you stroll around Harmbe you will quickly notice Micky Waving by the fruit carts (Google Maps).

9. Children of the World Wall – Animal Kingdom

This is my all time favourite of the ‘Walls of Disney’. It caught my eye accidentally as I walked the streets of Harmbe in Animal Kingdom. It is an extremely nice concept and made a big smile draw across my face when I noticed it. It Reads:

‘It does not matter who you are or where you are from we are all children of the world’

Where is the Children of the World Wall? You will find the Children of the World Wall in the same area of Harmbe as the Fichwa Fellow wall.

10. WanJohi Refreshment Wall, Animal Kingdom

Ok, so let rewind a little, a small refreshment stand is placed next to the Fichwa Fellow wall making an interesting backdrop. This could 100% qualify as it’s own Disney Instagram wall. For a cute photo opportunity, why not sit on the bike by the wall. Get a picture of two walls in one 😉

11. The Moss Wall – Pandora – Animal Kingdom

The next wall is super new, and right beside the coolest ride at Walt Disney World, Avatar’s flight of passage. The ‘Moss Wall’ is one of many, as there are several stone walls around ‘Pandora’ covered in Moss just waiting to be photographed.

12. The Lion King Wall – Animal Kingdom

The Animal Kingdom is flooded with The Lion King Merch, photo opportunities and themed snacks after the release of the live action version of the film. Which is AWESOME! This wall is a new addition to the park and I am really hoping it stays but just incase be sure to snap a pic of the wall before it goes.

Where is the Lion King Wall? The wall is located by Tiffins and the Nomad Lounge (Google Maps).

13. The Popsicle Wall – Toy Story land – Hollywood Studios

It’s time to park hop again, this time it’s over to Toy Story Land at Hollywood Studios. Our next Disney Wall is a lot of fun and bright Colours. Technically, it’s a gate but it still makes for an awesome instagram backdrop. The Popsicle Wall really make us feel like we are indeed toy sized.

Where is the Popsicle Wall? You will find the Popsicle Wall as you exit the popular Toy story attraction ‘midway mania’ (Google Maps).

14. The Checkerboard Wall – Toy Story Land – Hollywood Studios

To find the Checkerboard Wall all you have to do is turn around. Yes, That’s right! Both the Popsicle Stick Wall and the Checkerboard wall face each other. This is another nice addition to the exit of midway mania. In fact, the entire exit is full of picture opportunities.

15. The Jack Jack Wall – Hollywood Studios

And last but not least, the Jack Jack Wall <3 I LOVE this wall. It is high up on my list of my favourite Disney Walls. What is there not to love? It’s creative, it’s cute and well it’s right beside the ‘Neighborhood Bakery’ where Jack Jack Cookie NUM NUM’s are sold. These DELICIOUS threats are the best. Just note, they are so big they would probably feed a family of 4.
