Empty Sky 9/11 Memorial

Liberty State Park is the home to New Jersey’s Empty Sky 9/11 Memorial. The Memorial was dedicated on the 10th anniversary by designers Jessica Jamroz and Frederic Schwartz. It was made to honor the 749 people from New Jersey who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.

This memorial consists of two identical steel walls that contain a list of names of those who died during these terrible attacks. It is a nice place to pay your respect for those who lost their lives and their loved ones.

New Jersey Railroad Terminal

The New Jersey Railroad Terminal is a very historic site. Throughout 1892 to 1954 many Europeans passed through to start their new lives in the United States. I found this railroad particularly interesting as this is how the Irish would have immigrated many years ago.
